As I recall back in 2004 I was in Switzerland with my brother, brother-in-law and my older sister. We went this “Mount Niesen” and the view was awesome and we took lots of pictures there. I am lucky being visited the mountain since it is in the Guiness Book of records and it is in the record not because of its perfect pyramid shape, but rather of the 11,674 steps that make up the world’s longest staircase. The stairs are situated right next to the funicular that goes to the summit of this 2,336-meter high mountain. The stairs are not open to the public and are used by the personnel of the funicular. When the time I was there my husband called me and he was my fiance that time. I had fun in there, it is a great one to visit and you can see the view Lakes Thun and Brienz, and from afar one can admire the triumvirate Mpunts Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau. What a great experience I had in this Mount Niesen!
