One time, I was just reading one of the reader’s digest that I like to read and which is about health and one that I would like to share with you about this clear skin diet. An Australian researcher get rid of a Western diet high in processed foods and refined grains against a diet lean meat, seafood, fresh fruits and vegetables and whole grains. After 12 weeks, boys on a more natural diet reduced skin breakouts by 50 percent. Then the question occurs, why? It is because, blemishes result in part, carb-triggered jumps insulin levels. Insulin boosts the level of hormones that regulate production of skin oil; it also promotes keratin growth, which can block follicles. The result, redness, swelling and pimples.
Perhaps this is true, because even I observed myself when I do not eat processed foods I don’t get lots of pimples of myself and when I ate processed foods eventually on my cheeks swells, redness and then eventually the pimples coming out and kind annoying and what I do now I lessen eating processed foods since I know what I should eat to avoid having pimples but you know processed food are tasty right? Yum! (lol).
