I loved to shop but what I hate most is that waiting in line to pay my items especially during big sale like black Friday or I do not like to wait outside before the mall opens especially during black Friday. I feel bad of my kababayan Filipino who cannot afford to buy rice or feed enough for their kids and who cannot eat 3 times a day as the price of rice is kept soaring. I remember when I was still living in Philippines it was about P14-16 per kilo and that is about 35 cents in U.S money and now my mom told me they bought a sack of rice for more than P2,000 and the one which is much better quality is almost 3k and that is quite high price. I felt bad for those people who cannot even eat meal 3 times a day. I want to say the truth that Filipino parents should not make many babies unless they will do their responsibility like can afford to send them to school/educate them, feed them and if they have enough money to raise kids. I knew that there are a lot out there that they knew they cannot sustain their kids but they kept making babies, what is up with them? I want to say that they just think of their pleasure not thinking ahead of the bright future of their kids. If I wanted to have kids, I wanted to make sure I can afford and it must planned as taking care of kids is not easy and it is a big responsibility being a parent but others are being negligence and perhaps I am saying this because it is easy to say. Well…I am just saying my opinion and my thoughts. Sometimes, when I come back to my homeland, it is depressing to see kids are roaming around who are look messy, asking money and begging for food in order to survive. Where are the parents? The population in Philippines is increasing and others are starving to death due to foods prices are arising and I am sure they prefer to buy noodles or food instead of buying contraceptives. Well…Philippines is not only a country which hurt when it comes in food prices but in some other countries too, but I am just sad to see the kids are affected as they are innocent and they need care, love and education. Maybe I am lucky as I do not have kids yet, I do have a lot of food sometimes in the refrigerator, others went bad, I even threw them away, and thinking of throwing them makes me think people back in my country or other people who are starving to death. I usually the one who eats whatever in the refrigerator so I end up even gaining some weight and I even wished sometimes I can share the food that I eat to somebody else.
