My husband looked online a house for a while here in MI. By the time, we are ready to move here in MI, and while surfing online, I have found this trulia dot com site and I have found several houses that we would like to look inside and we asked the Realtor to show around the house that we interested in. We did looked ourselves 1st when there is an open house and 2nd time our Realtor showed what we liked most and she showed us about 7-10 houses. There was a house that I have found and it is the last house that she showed to us and it is the one that I liked most and what we would like to purchase, my husband was doubtful about it but we agreed if they will not take our offer we will get the 2nd house that we liked. Since they took our offer, we bought the house as our 1st choice. The house value nowadays are kept dropping since the house that my husband and I monitored the price did drop and I was even thinking that would be a great idea if we bought a house when the price is much lower when it was in the market and I have found about 2 houses which has 4 bedrooms and 3 1/2 bath which has very nice kitchen and it has a huge lot but the problem is that the location is not really perfect but we bought has a great location, nearby the lake, 1 story but it is the one that we liked most and it has big backyard and great basement. I rode a horse before when were my husband and I in Indiana and it was my 1st time riding a horse and it was fun and I wanted to do it again, at 1st I do not want to ride as I was afraid might the horse will kick me but my husband did urge me that I'll be fine. My husband went in Ann Arbor, MI on Sunday and we stopped one of their bar there. Anyway, while I was driving, my husband did asked me if we could stopped another bar nearby in Detroit and we wanted to go to Dylan's bar but my husband did not find in the GPS maybe he spelled it wrong or whatever reason is why he did not find it. Moreover, since he wanted we will stop in other bar, we decided to try out the Cadieux Cafe. When we get in, we loved already the place and when were there it's not a lot of people because it was still early around 4:30 pm and after 30-45 mins. people are coming in.

Anyway, the Cadieux Cafe has been owned by the Devos family since the '60s, with a new generation taking over 10 years ago. The cafe's offers world's famous mussel dinner, feather bowling and much more! The bartender told us the Cadieux Cafe was in Anthony Bourdain's show the "No Reservations" and the show will be on air Monday night. So, last night we decided to be there before the show in TV as it will start at 10pm and we went there at 9 to order food. When were arrived there is no parking spot for us and we decided to park behind the bar and we are lucky we can still park the car. When we get in, it was crowded lots of people enjoying or having fun eating and talking w/ their friends. We sat by the bar and we ordered some foods such as hummus w/ hot pita bread and pomme frites or french fries and my husband did order liver pork as you can see the pictures here what we ordered. The food they have are delicious and served hot especially the french fries it can burn your mouth if you are not careful, it was cripsy and hot french fries, I was satisfied with my food that we ordered.

We moved here in MI and I received a letter last week from USCIS office and when I read it, I was happy because it says I have an oath for the process for citizenship will be held in Tampa but it was too late for me to go to Florida since we moved here in MI. And my husband decided to send it back in Florida, because I wanted to do the oath here in MI. I have changed my address before they sent me the letter but they haven't changed it yet that is why I've got a letter oath appointment in Tampa but it's alright since my husband sent it back and they will send me a letter for my appointment when I will have an oath here in MI. I am not worry about it as I will have an oath since here in MI but it would be nice if I will done it sooner so that I can apply a blue U.S passport and travel in other country together with my husband and I do not need to apply for a visa and that is convenient. Nowadays I liked collecting antiques or old stuff like fish's bitter bottles, old children books, figurines, and others. I am enjoying my hobby since collecting great stuff is fun and I even told my husband how I wish that we bought a bigger house so that I could have enough room for my collections. My husband told me that I should stop buying but I cannot resist not buying if I like the item especially when it is collectible. Anyway, since we moved here in MI, I am now liking buy some antiques on garage sale it is fun to shop in garage sale as I can see different stuff and one that I liked most when there is an estate sale as I can tour the house and see the decorations of the house and it is fun. One time, I went to an estate sale and while looking what I'm going to buy, I found a figural "Doctor Fisch's Bitters" fish-shaped bitters as you can see in the picture but what I have is clear bottle, I just posted the picture here even though it's different color, because I wanted to show here what it look like. It is a collectible bottle and I loved it. I hope I'll find other old collectible bottles again added to my collection.

One of my hobbies now is collecting vintage children books. I started just this month and I have some that I liked. Before my husband and I sleep, he reads a story for me which is quite funny and that is sweet, it is fun to read happy stories of children colorful books. My hubby even said to me that he likes to read classic/vintage children books and he said it is much better to read and quite interesting to read. Anyway, I have a "Ferdinand" children book which is about a "cow" who just like to sit under the tree and smell the flowers and this is such an interesting story and it's one of my favorite. I have several children books such as Tom Thumb, Hansel and Gretel, Cinderella and much more! I will look some vintage children books once we will go to in an old book store.

We are back yesterday here somewhere in suburb of Detroit where we are currently residing, we are living here now for about a month and I am liking where we are since we live in a nice community. Anyway, we are back from family reunion from my in laws vacation homes. I loved the area which is called "Elk Rapids" my in laws have a vacation home which is nearby the lake. Every summer we go there and meet my husbands brother and sister and their kids, his relatives and of course his parents. It is such a nice place as it has fresh air, it is just a small town and it's a peaceful area and it is great place for retirees or people wanted to go away from the city. I enjoy during my husband's family reunion, because I enjoy spending time w/ my husbands family and also my god son and god daughter and play with them around.

My husband and I bought a new house yesterday which has 3 bedroom and 2 and half bath. It is not really a big house but it's enough for 2 of us and perhaps if we have kids, we can make 2 extension rooms. It is our 1st time owning a house and yesterday we finally bought a house here somewhere in MI and we did a good job finding one that we liked most and a house where we are going to live and perhaps the rest of our lives.
